Un rassemblement de boittes carrés\, sans aucune affiliation à un groupe “officiels”. La folie des détenteurs d’un VW sur le nez\, est la “facile” raison\, de la réunion. \nLes conditions sont simples. 20$ par nuit par wess\, payable au proprios du camping\, à votre arrivée à la réception (argent comptant svp). Vous serai alors dirigé vers le site officiel\, ou des St-Georges vous accueilleront avec le “sticker” autocollant 2020. Ils vous quémanderont $10 par personne\, pour des raisons qui ne sont pas de vos affaires. Les emplacements sont sans service. Aucune réservation requise. \nComme pour les autres années\, le souper du samedi sera tous ensemble\, pour communier à la même grande table. Sur place\, pour vous\, les alléchants cuisiniers et leurs Big BBQ vous prépareront divers délicieuses saucisses 1A 3 étoiles et les fameuses grillades qui donnent soif (Boucherie L’Ère Bête de Rawdon). Pommes de terre cuites dans la braise vous y attendront aussi (Ferme Rivest-Bourgeois)\, mais les gens ont l’habitude d’y apporter leurs accompagnements mangeables (et buvables évidement …). \nCette année\, l’événement prend une tournure musicale\, parce que le westeux aime la musique. . . A collection of square boxes\, without any affiliation to an “official” group. The madness of the holders of a VW on the nose\, is the “easy” reason\, of the meeting. \nThe conditions are simple. $ 20 per night per wess\, payable to the campsite owner\, upon arrival at the reception (cash please). You will then be directed to the official website\, where St-Georges will welcome you with the 2020 sticker. They will beg you $ 10 per person\, for reasons that are not your business. The pitches are without service. No reservation required. \nAs in other years\, the Saturday supper will be all together\, for communion at the same large table. On the spot\, for you\, the enticing cooks and their Big BBQ will prepare you various delicious 1A 3 star sausages and the famous grills that make you thirsty (Boucherie L’Ère Bête de Rawdon). Potatoes cooked in embers will also be waiting for you (Ferme Rivest-Bourgeois)\, but people are used to bringing their edible accompaniments (and drinkable of course …). \nThis year\, the event takes a musical turn\, because the westeux likes music. . . DESCRIPTION:Air-Cooled Connection in association with Tuned Perfection presents the 1st Annual GermanAire Car Show and Social. \nThe June Jitterbug ran for many years\, but sadly ended in 2019 due to medical issues by the organizer. Niagara GermanAire picks up where the June Jitterbug left off. This show will be at the same park\, still in June\, but on the weekend BEFORE Father’s Day. The organizers are well known in the air-cooled VW community and we’re eager to bring new life to this show.\nSaturday will see the traditional cruise around the scenic Niagara Falls area. This will take approximately 3 hours. After the cruise\, participants can relax at the host hotel or the campground and make some new VW friends while getting reacquainted with old ones.\nSunday is the show and swap meet. This year we will be adding a VW bus photo booth\, in addition to more vendors offering clothing\, art\, and other VW related goodies. There will be an engine blow contest again\, food trucks\, games and activities for the kids\, hood pull\, push drags\, and new this year- a LARGE gathering of air-cooled Porsches.

DESCRIPTION:Cruise Grey Bruce Car Show on Sunday\, June 28. \nClassic and show cars (all makes and models) to gather at the Plex Parking lot in Port Elgin\, Ontario starting at 12:30pm. Leaving the parking lot at 1:00pm and touring through Sauble Beach\, Oliphant\, Wiarton\, Clavering\, Hepworth\, Shallow Lake\, Springmount\, Kilsyth\, Keady\, Chesley\, Tara\, Burgoyne\, and through Port Elgin back to the parking lot. Route should take about 2.5 hours. \nNot a parade but a driving tour. Lots of gas stations and restrooms on the route. Not a fundraiser. No registration is required. DESCRIPTION:There’s no life like bus life!\n\n\nCome join us on the stunning shores of Lake Erie for a weekend of bus related festivities. \nWe will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday with camping and catching up. Live music and a bonfire will follow. Sunday shall involve a lakeshore cruise and a campground show n’ shine with a few fun awards. Movies under the pavilion and more camp fires will follow\, wrapping up on Monday at 1:00 pm. \nOur venue is a private campground complete with ten cabins\, full washroom and shower facilities\, horse shoe pits and 800′ of lakefront. \nWe will be the only event on the premises. Don’t forget your bathing suits!

Sept. 24 to Sun. Sept. 26\, 2021.\n\n\n\nWe are looking at camping for two nights: Fri. and Sat.\n\n\n\nI am also looking at doing a cruise/tour of local breweries and wineries\, and looking for feedback on which day makes more sense.\n\nWould you prefer we do the cruise on Friday afternoon\, before arriving at “camp?” Or would it be better to just show up on Friday\, and then do the cruise on Saturday during the day? (I know some people like to “set up camp” and might not want to move the bus again until decamping\, but I also figure some people might have to work Friday\, and won’t get here until the evening anyway…)\n\n\n\nLet me know your thoughts!\n\n\n\nHere’s what I’m looking at (tentatively — all subject to change!):\n\n\n\nFri. Sept. 24\nAfternoon — arrive at camp\nEvening — BBQ & camp fire\n\n\n\n\nSat. Sept. 25\nMorning — breakfast\nDay — cruise/tour of local breweries & wineries\nEvening — BBQ & camp fire & live music\n\n\n\n\nSun. Sept. 26\nMorning — breakfast\nDay — Bayfield Volkfest in Clan Gregor Square (Bayfield)\n\n\n\n\nMore details coming soon\, but we have the Square (tentatively) booked with the town\, and are slowly piecing together details. We are looking at options for where to camp\, we could potential be back at The Ashwood again\, or perhaps use the facilities at Camp Kintail (just north of Goderich) which is right on the lake.\n\n\n\nLet me know your thoughts and I can’t wait to see you all!!!

DESCRIPTION:K-W & Area Bug Club – Fall Colour Cruise\nMonday October 11th\n1:00 PM \nHi all\, \nThe end of the VW cruising season is approaching quickly\, with folks putting their rides away for the winter.  Before that happens\, lets have a last chance cruise to see some of the beautiful fall colours.  This will be a rain or shine event. \nThis is an open event to the entire VW community brought to you by the K-W & Area Bug Club. \nSince this is a socially distant car cruise\, we will be meeting at the GO Park and Ride lot in Aberfoyle ( 198-\, 202 Brock Rd S\, Guelph\, ON N1H 6H9 ).  Be sure to enter the parking lot from McLean Road. Please arrive just a few minutes before we depart  Maps/Directions will be provided. \nPrior to departing\, you may wish to top off the tank. There are many service stations near the car lot.
