DESCRIPTION:The Mississauga Classic Car Club is a VW friendly all manufacturer Show & Shine venue.  It is well attended and you will generally find K-W & Area Bug Club members there as well.  It is often free access\, but occasionally entry by donation to support their charity which is the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Foundation. Please help support their charity.   They have weekly door-prizes and a 50-50 draw.  There is lots of food choices nearby. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Événement annulé / Event Cancelled\n \n(English below) \nPour une septième édition\, la famille St-Georges élargie\, vous invite à ouvrir (Open) votre saison wesfalienne 2020\, sur les bords de la sinueuse Rivière Noir\, Ste-Émélie-de-l’Énergie\, dans Lanaudière. Un rassemblement de boittes carrés\, sans aucune affiliation à un groupe “officiels”. La folie des détenteurs d’un VW sur le nez\, est la “facile” raison\, de la réunion. \nLes conditions sont simples. 20$ par nuit par wess\, payable au proprios du camping\, à votre arrivée à la réception (argent comptant svp). Vous serai alors dirigé vers le site officiel\, ou des St-Georges vous accueilleront avec le “sticker” autocollant 2020. Ils vous quémanderont $10 par personne\, pour des raisons qui ne sont pas de vos affaires. Les emplacements sont sans service. Aucune réservation requise. \nComme pour les autres années\, le souper du samedi sera tous ensemble\, pour communier à la même grande table. Sur place\, pour vous\, les alléchants cuisiniers et leurs Big BBQ vous prépareront divers délicieuses saucisses 1A 3 étoiles et les fameuses grillades qui donnent soif (Boucherie L’Ère Bête de Rawdon). Pommes de terre cuites dans la braise vous y attendront aussi (Ferme Rivest-Bourgeois)\, mais les gens ont l’habitude d’y apporter leurs accompagnements mangeables (et buvables évidement …). \nCette année\, l’événement prend une tournure musicale\, parce que le westeux aime la musique. . . Les St-Georges aussi ! \n* Le vendredi\, Môssieu atmosphère avec sa jaune machine\, le DJ Michel Harvey sera sur place\, et vous titillera les oreilles de l’age de votre embarcation\, selon les besoins et son humeur.\n* Le samedi soir\, de retour après une mémorable prestation l’an passé\, le Piano man Bernard Quessy et son clavier\, avec son talent musical rassembleur… \n. . . C’est long comme texte\, mais nous terminons avec les réponses aux questions habituelles. \n— Beau temps mauvais temps. L’option abris sera à valeur ajoutée\, parce que 5 fois sur 6\, il pleut au St-Georges Open. Si jamais le site est inaccessible ( Rivière Noir qui n’a pas reprise sont lit\, ou déluge )\,nous nous déplacerons sur le camping\, ou il y a de l’espace et un grand chapiteau. \n— Les chiens\, chats et autres de compagnie\, devront obligatoirement être tenus en laisses. Les enfants peuvent être lousses\, mais la rivière est haute et le courant fort . Une surveillance accrue est de rigueur. \n— Il y a\, avant l’entrée du site du St-Georges Open\, des espaces de camping (plateau des bouleaux)\, pour ceux qui n’on malheureusement pas\, de westfalia. \n— Bien que vos amis soit les bienvenus au camping Ste-Émélie\,à notre grande tablée\, et autour de nos feux de fin de soirées\, le St-Georges Open privilégie le westfalien. pensez y ! \n\nFor a seventh edition\, the extended St-Georges family invites you to open your 2020 Wesfalian season (Open) on the banks of the winding Rivière Noir\, Ste-Émélie-de-l’Énergie\, in Lanaudière. A collection of square boxes\, without any affiliation to an “official” group. The madness of the holders of a VW on the nose\, is the “easy” reason\, of the meeting. \nThe conditions are simple. $ 20 per night per wess\, payable to the campsite owner\, upon arrival at the reception (cash please). You will then be directed to the official website\, where St-Georges will welcome you with the 2020 sticker. They will beg you $ 10 per person\, for reasons that are not your business. The pitches are without service. No reservation required. \nAs in other years\, the Saturday supper will be all together\, for communion at the same large table. On the spot\, for you\, the enticing cooks and their Big BBQ will prepare you various delicious 1A 3 star sausages and the famous grills that make you thirsty (Boucherie L’Ère Bête de Rawdon). Potatoes cooked in embers will also be waiting for you (Ferme Rivest-Bourgeois)\, but people are used to bringing their edible accompaniments (and drinkable of course …). \nThis year\, the event takes a musical turn\, because the westeux likes music. . . The St-Georges too! \n* On Friday\, Môssieu atmosphere with his yellow machine\, DJ Michel Harvey will be on site\, and will tickle your ears the age of your boat\, according to the needs and his mood.\n* On Saturday evening\, back after a memorable performance last year\, the Piano man Bernard Quessy and his keyboard\, with his unifying musical talent … \n. . . It’s a long text\, but we finish with the answers to the usual questions. \n— Rain or shine. The shelter option will be of added value\, because 5 times out of 6\, it rains at the St-Georges Open. If ever the site is inaccessible (Black River which has not taken over its bed\, or deluge)\, we will move to the campsite\, where there is space and a large marquee. \n— Companion dogs\, cats and others\, must be kept on a leash. Children may be loose\, but the river is high and the current strong. DESCRIPTION:FRESH 2020\n\n\nOpen the 2020 season with our Fresh event. Vagkraft is back with a Fresh take on the annual spring get together. Fresh 2020 will be a relaxed show featuring many of the events from our usual mid summer show in a natural setting in the GTA. \nSunday\, May 24th\, 2020\n**Rain or Shine** \nVenue: Boyd conservation area boasts picnic areas\, bathroom facilities\, ample space\, a soccer pitch and playgrounds. https://trca.ca/parks/boyd-conservation-area/ \nEntry Cost: While most Fresh events will be FREE (see below)\, all visitors must pay to access the conservation area:\nAdults (15+): $6.50\nSenior (60+): $5.00\nYouths (5-14): $4.00\nChildren under4\, with Family: FREE\nAll prices include HST. \nEvents:\n\nShow and Shine: An exhibition style show and shine\, open to every car\,\n(yes\, every car will be eligible)\nAwards:\n– Best Wheels\n– Best Exterior/Paint\n– Best Interior\n– Best Theme/Presentation \nPlus all new awards for 2020! \nNo registration needed and FREE (just pay to get into Boyd conservation area)\, and display your dashcard on your car. Awards will be voted by the public using our voting site: vote.vagkraft.com (open the day of the show). \nThe Freshest: Think you’ve got the Freshest car at the event? This will be a top dawg style award\, accompanied by one of the LARGEST trophies we have ever awarded. Day of Registration required. Cost $20. Limited to 10 cars only\, first come first served. \nDyno: A fan favourite. We’ll have time for about 10 cars. 2 pulls \, and the highest HP takes the Fresh trophy home. This event will be day of registration\, first come\, first served. Front Wheel Drive Only. Cost $70. Register at the Vagkraft booth the day of\, or pre-register for a discount! \nTo gaurantee your spot on the Dyno\, pre-registration is available for $60 (a $10 discount) for two pulls. \n\nSend your contact information in a paypal payment to payment@vagkraft.com by May 20th\nArrive early to the show and check into the VK booth under the pavilion\nRefunds will be given if you are unable to Dyno\n\nLimbo: Back for a third year\, we’ll set the bar and see who is the lowest of the low. Cars must move under their own power under the bar to qualify as a clean pass. Lowest car takes home a Fresh trophy. This event will be day of registration. Cost $10. All proceeds to the John DiBattista Foundation to help end cancer. \nPoke ‘N Go Swap meet: Empty out your garage and your stock parts\, old wheels\, and whatever you need to get rid of. We’ll have a designated area for private sellers to sell their parts. This event will will be day of registration (private sellers only please\, no vendors). Cost $25 All proceeds to the John DiBattista Foundation to help end cancer. \nScavenger Hunt: A new twist on an old event. Pick up your entry form and map at the Vagkraft booth. Find the VW parts hidden within the conservation area and turn in your entry form before 1pm. All correct entries will be entered into a draw for a CASH PRIZE. No registration needed and FREE (just pay to get into Boyd conservation area). \nTrophies: Check out our social media for an upcoming sneak peak of our NEW 2020 trophies. Special FRESH/Vagkraft trophy plates will also be awarded. \nSwag: As usual\, we have your swag needs covered. Special edition shirts\, and stickers\, and very limited edition Vagkraft shirts\, plates and more will be available. \nVendors: We’ll also have our generous vendors and sponsors on site all day as well.
